Max Cash selling guide
How to Check Your MacBook Specs Before Selling
MacBooks that look nearly identical can have very different values. The exact model, year, chip or processor, memory and storage matter, so send those details before a cash offer is confirmed.
Start with About This Mac
Open the Apple menu in the top-left corner and choose About This Mac. Depending on the macOS version, you may see the MacBook family, chip or processor, memory and macOS version directly there.
Find storage capacity
From About This Mac or System Settings, open the storage information and note the total internal storage capacity. Send the capacity, not only how much free space remains.
Identify Apple silicon vs Intel
Apple silicon models show a chip such as M1, M2, M3 or M4 and may include Pro or Max variants. Older MacBooks may show an Intel processor instead. The exact chip or processor can materially change value.

Send the exact information before the appointment
Max Cash uses the exact configuration to confirm the offer before you decide whether to schedule. If a detail is unclear, send the model information you can see rather than guessing.
